An oversized or undersized unit will short-cycle or struggle to keep up, so we size the replacement to the home rather than just swapping like for like. That includes checking the existing ductwork and refrigerant lines can handle the new unit before installation starts.
Once the new system is in, we test it through a full cooling cycle, check the refrigerant charge and airflow, and walk through what's changed and how to run it before we leave.
