Question 1

How does the process work?

Accepted Answer

I start with a free survey of your chimney or masonry to find out exactly what's going on. Once I know the cause, I explain it in plain terms and give you a fixed written quote before any work begins.

Question 2

Do you give fixed quotes, and how much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every job is quoted after a free survey, so you get a clear, fixed price before I start rather than a rough guess. Costs vary depending on the chimney or masonry work needed.

Question 3

Are you insured and is the work guaranteed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, I'm fully insured and stand behind every job with guaranteed workmanship, whether it's a full chimney repair or a small tuckpointing fix.

Question 4

How long does the work take?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the scope of the job. A tuckpointing repair might take a day, while a full chimney or masonry restoration can take longer. I'll give you a realistic timeframe with your quote.

Question 5

How do I know what the real problem is with my chimney?

Accepted Answer

I don't just patch what's visible. I inspect the chimney and surrounding masonry properly during the free survey to identify the actual cause before recommending any fix.

Question 6

What areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

I work throughout Dayton, Ohio and the surrounding area, including Trotwood, Riverside, Kettering, West Carrollton, Huber Heights and Englewood.
