Crawlspace Encapsulation
Crawlspace Encapsulation in Raleigh
A full encapsulation lines the floor and walls, seals the vents, and fits a dehumidifier so moisture, pests and musty air stay out.
Encapsulation goes further than a vapor barrier on its own. The whole crawl space gets lined floor to wall with heavy-duty sheeting, the vents and access door are sealed up, and a dehumidifier keeps the air inside dry going forward. Done properly it stops the space acting as a source of damp, cold air and musty smells reaching the rooms above.
I'll check the existing insulation and framing while I'm in there and let you know if anything needs replacing before the liner goes in, rather than sealing over a problem. Once it's done, the space stays dry and closed off without you needing to think about it again.

Matt, Thank you so much for resolving our crawl space issues at very short notice. We were also extremely impressed with you sharing the various options going forward with the project with no pressure and working with us in taking the appropriate action. The overall quality of the job and professionalism made this a seamless and satisfactory experience for our family.
Great service! Highly recommend. Matt goes above and beyond... We purchased an older place and knew that there was some issues with the crawl space. Our realtor recommended Matt and he delivered. He did a thorough inspection and provided us with a breakdown of what needed to be done. We needed his expertise for some items but we consider ourselves relatively handy and when asked about some DIY opportunities Matt was more than helpful. Matt even came out to review the work we did on our own and provided further guidance.
This company was one of the best I've worked with in the past! Matt is super communicative and great at explaining his whole process and what he does to ensure a great encapsulated crawlspace! He took time to warn me of situations to look out for during my 'first time' building experience.
